    Yummy!

We absolutely love the lamb nuggets! Primal has such a variety of flavors at our local store. We like to rotate between the lamb, and the turkey & sardine. Great ingredients & quality!

    PICKY PUP APPROVED 👌

I got this recipe for my very picky Husky, and he is obsessed! He never hesitates to eat it, which is difficult for any brand to achieve! Thank you, Primal, for making quality products with our pets' health in mind, but mostly thank you for making them yummy enough that our boy is in love!

Way too high a fat content

Fair warning - this food is not meant for older dogs. I have a 13 year old dog who had a pancreatic attack for the first time in her life. Until I started feeding this Primal Nuggets food (not fed as a base, but one nugget in the morning as a supplement to her kibble), she has the healthiest gut in my house of ten dogs. She was extremely sick last week, I have seen pancreatitis in dogs before since I have spent all my life surrounded by dogs, and I knew the signs. I took her to the veterinarian and she had pancreatitis. This food has 35-37% fat content in it, that blew her little pancreas away! Poor baby was in so much pain. I don't know why there is such a high fat content in it, but I strongly advise not feeding it to your older dogs.

Great for fussy eater with belly issues.

My dog Maximillian has been eating Primal for many years. He is fussy when it comes to his food and even when his stomach has discomfort and we switch to chicken and rice, he will always return to Primal.

    I am forever grateful!
