Feeding Instructions

Only serve Primal raw foods when completely thawed—frozen foods can be difficult for animals to digest. Never microwave any pet food.

Use stainless steel bowls when feeding any raw product. Other materials, such as plastic and porcelain, are pourous and can trap germs over time.

    Bring back the old version with packaging

    I started this food. I would say about six months or even longer. I know it's this year. I had issues with a different brand of freeze dry raw food, which also, the color and smell changed. Then I discovered Primal. My cat devoured it. He loved it so much. I have never seen him eat this way, since he was a kitten. He is two years old now Then all of a sudden the nuggets started changing colors like a mustard color instead of a natural tan color as before and it had a very strong smell in the bag. Even the packaging changed so I wasn't sure where it was coming from. My cat will not eat the new version of the nuggets at all he will starve before he eats I've been fortunate to find different places by random to get the old packaging that comes in a purple bag. for the turkey formula I will eventually run out of places and that will probably be the end of me buying this food Is sad because it was good. Whatever they did, they need to changed. Otherwise they will Lise customers. I'm writing this review from the new version not the old old version of the Nuggets. I would've rated it a five star it was. Unfortunately, it's not going to happen.

This new step wasn't expected to change the product, but we've found it may have contributed to texture or color variation.     My cats adore this food

    I have been feeding my two older cats the beef and salmon for almost a year now. My 2mo kitten is eating a raw kitten food but I plan on switching her to this when she's a little older. My cats are ravenous for this stuff, and they're both very healthy and at a great weight for their size according to the vet. They both have great coats and very rarely have furballs. I tried the chicken and salmon and they didn't like it but they gave love the beef, and I plan on trying the rabbit as well. I buy this at the Whole Foods I work at so it's convenient, I get a discount, and my cats love it.

    Primal beef, and salmon nuggets.

    My cat is 10 years old and thriving on the beef and salmon nuggets. He loves the other oat as well, but I can only afford the beef and salmon.

    Organic vegetables and no bad ingredients.

    I've been feeding my kitty, Lizzy, since I first adopted her. She is 1 year 9 months old now and is healthy as ever. Her coat is shining, weight is perfect and she lives the pork. I do wish Primal would make just a chicken bag. She doesn't like the mix of chicken and salmon. Pork is her only choice that she likes.

Storage Instructions

Keep product frozen until ready to thaw and use. After portioning, immediately place bag into freezer. Primal Nuggets will thaw in approximately 10 hours of refrigeration and will maintain optimum freshness for up to 7 days.

Wash hands, working surfaces, utensils and any other items that touch or contact raw pet foods with hot, soapy water. Keep this product out of reach of infants and young children.
