Feeding Instructions

Rehydrate food with warm water, Bone Broth, or Raw Goat Milk to ensure optimum nutrient absorption. We recommend thoroughly incorporating one tablespoon of hydration for every nugget served.

    My cat loves Primal

    It was very easy to switch my cat to the freeze-dried Primal food. She loves it. She is salivating before I put the bowl down. However, I am having trouble getting it. My usual supplier is Pet Valu and they don't have any in their warehouse in Ontario right now. I am looking into direct ordering and hoping it isn't too $$$$ly.

    Great Ingredients, Perfect for Picky Cats

    My cat has always been a picky eater (only liking pate/mousse textures), but Primal freeze dried nuggets are a hit. So far she has tried the pork and beef & salmon flavors. I hydrate them with some goat milk and add pate as well. She no longer leaves her food unfinished. I definitely recommend this product for picky eaters. I am also happy about the ingredient list for these nuggets.

    Most of the varieties are good

    I've tried every variety. Top choices are the turkey, the chicken+salmon, and the beef+salmon. The rabbit and the duck are good too, but slightly more expensive and my kitty doesn't seem to notice the difference. The venison is the only one I do not recommend. Mr. Gato likes it, but the bricks are WAY harder than any of the others and actually require a pair of pliers to break apart. All the others I can easily break apart and crumble into fibers with my hand, but the venison bricks are way too hard.
