Job Description:
Increase retail availability, awareness, recommendation and consumption of Primal Pet Foods products in your assigned territory.

  • Develop a strong network of relationships with retailers, distributor personnel and influencers so you can maximize your impact and remain plugged into everything that's happening in your market.
  • Open new retail accounts.
  • Expand assortment of Primal Pet Foods available at existing accounts.
  • Train existing and new retail accounts on the features and benefits of Primal Pet Foods products and how to recommend them to consumers. Identify and train at least one retail associate per location to be in store "expert" on the brand.
  • Leverage distributor resources including sales personnel to increase your influence in the market and execute effective placement or trial driving promotions.
  • Help insure sufficient distributor inventory levels are in place and confirm retailer satisfaction with distribution network.
  • Develop a network of Primal Pet Food consumers willing to work retailer and community events, converting shoppers and pet parents to the brand. (Demo team)
  • Identify the best retailer and community events to attend and or support with demo team.
  • Manage available resources effectively to deliver maximum results.
  • Sales Experience - Pet or Natural Foods.
  • Goal oriented with a track record of success.
  • Strong Communication Skills - Written, Oral & Presentation.
  • Basic Computer Skills - Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Willingness to Travel - up to 50% based on location.
  • Based near Los Angeles.

Primal Pet Foods Demo Team Members

Job Description:
Demo team members act as educators in their local communities. This includes supporting local stores by helping educate customers and staff, as well as working local events.

We are looking for team members that are outgoing, have a love for pets, enjoy interacting with people, and are organized. Sales and/or retail experience is ideal, but not required. Team members must be prepared to spend the majority of their shift standing.

Time Commitment:
Demo team members help to build their own flexible schedule that fits their target stores needs, as well as their own. Most team members work anywhere between 8 and 30 hours a week.

Demo team members must have reliable transportation and be able to transport product and marketing material to and from their event.
