I have a 12 year old mixed terrier breed rescue. Hanalei has always had an irritable stomach and sensitivity to grains. She's been on Evo, a high quality dog food for a number of years and has done okay. As she is getting older my wife and I decided we'd give raw food a chance.

Well, the good news is that she's a much more energetic dog with a healthier coat and much better smelling breath breath. The bad news is she wakes me up way too early with a excited morning acrobatic ritual of back leg stands and scrambling/leaping around the bedroom. Honestly, she NEVER used to do this. She can't wait for breakfast, which she powers down in about 20 seconds. Thanks for the great product!

My 4 yr old French Bulldog was on a high quality Canadian kibble that he enjoyed and did well on since birth. He always had sensitive stomach problems as well as gastritis and any treat would cause major problems. I came to terms that its a breed issue living with gas and questionable stool.

The last draw was a issue of hives after a meal. I made the switch to Primal over night due to a bad case of diarrhea, I had nothing to lose and was worried of more issues. After asking raw feeder friends and looking on this site, it has been such a success! No more gas at all. He LOVES his food and his stools are small, firm and almost odor-less. His stomach seems more balanced over all and no longer has issues even with treats. We are so glad Primal is working for us!!

My 9 year old cat was diagnosed with colitis last year. He's had bouts since he was 2 years old but I managed to control with fiber. When that failed, I went through the typical vet regimen: Prednisone steroid, Tylan antibiotics, and single-protein prescription diet. This worked at first but my cat had relapses and it's not good for him long term. My vet recommended a raw diet; I tried another brand but it was "elastic" and my cat wouldn't touch it.

Thinking the raw diet foods offered were the same, I didn't try Primal. After a year of my poor cat relapsing and me wanting a more holistic approach to his care, my local independent pet store gave me a sample of Primal, telling me the grind was fine and more like a canned cat food (not elastic). I tried the Quail and low and behold when my cat ate this NO diarrhea within 48 hours! As long as he eats this daily and very little or no canned or dry food he does great.

We got our tiny black Shih Tzu when he was 9 mos old. It took awhile for him to adjust to us. He was also a very picky eater. We got him the best kibbles and wet food but he would only eat it for 2 days. He started skipping meals and would only eat the treats we got him -- Primal Chicken Nibs.

Our vet said that our dog will eat when he feels hungry and not to worry. But it's been consistent that he will not eat his morning meal and that we already brought him to the vet 6 times in 4 months. I then decided to check the brand of his treat and learned so much more about the company and it's products and more about the advantage of raw feeding.

I bought his first Primal Chicken formula about a month ago and I can see the significant improvement. He is now more active, excited to eat (unreal!) and his poop is way better now. I thought I would have a hard time with his transition but it wasn't at all bad. He is now a happy dog and hopefully he will continue to be :) Thank you PRIMAL!!!

My family and I adopted our 8 year old dog Kobe when he was 11 weeks old from a woman in Willits, CA that rescues labs from southern states. It turns out, Kobe ended up with a lot of health problems. He has OCD (a joint condition) and had to have arthroscopic surgery on his elbows when he was 9 mos. old. He also has severe hip dysplasia.

We thought Kobe's seemingly constant tummy problems was due to the pain he was experiencing. We got him on Rimadyl and he still had either loose stools or diarrhea daily. We tried changing him from kibble to other foods, including canned. Same problem! My nail lady rescues pit bulls and was telling me about one of her charges and his symptoms were the same as Kobe's. She said she switched him to Primal and he had no further problems.

I had tried everything at that point, so I gave Primal a try. Not only does Kobe eat his food more enthusiastically, but he no longer has loose bowel movements! No more coming downstairs in the morning to find unpleasant surprise packages left by a desperate dog that couldn't hold it any longer! No more silent, but deadly gas that would instantly clear the room! He has also maintained a healthy weight for a lab/doberman mix, thanks to Primal.

Our lab was 10 years old last year when we visited a new vet. "How old is she?" he asked. "Ten months?" Of course I said no, she was ten YEARS. He did a double-take then said again as he examined her ears, "She still looks like a pup."

We owe her health to RAW FOOD!

We have two cats, Molly and Peaches. Molly is 6 years of age. Molly has been vomiting for a while now. At first it was just now and then. Then out of no where it was all the time. I did some research on the internet. I googled why is my cat vomiting everyday. All of her symptoms sounded like IBS for cats. I read that if she lived in the wild she would eat only meat. She would never go hunt for oats and grains.

So I tried to feed her some other raw food that I had ordered on the internet. It did not help, nor was she interested in it. So I took her to the vet they said try Science Diet, which made it worse. For a year I tried so many different foods. Then I thought maybe there is another brand I can try. I researched raw food for cats and I found Primal. I read Primal's testimonials and then I found a pet store near me that carried it.

At first they did protest the food, so I mixed it with dry food. Then, I gradually added more Primal over time. Then one day I just fed them only the raw food and they have been eating it ever since. She is more playful and much happier. Thank you so much for this product. If it was not for you I would have run up thousands of dollars at the vet trying to figure out what was wrong with her.

I am a very strong advocate for raw pet food and particularly Primal Pet Food. My fur-kid, Thurman, was a rescue and always had something wrong, including diabetes. We got the diabetes under control but his digestive system was a continuous problem.

The vet put him on Science Diet prescription food for IBS but I found foreign substances in some of those cans and Thurman was no better, (i.e. no abatement in the throwing up, loose stool, horrific odor). The vet had exhausted his options and I was distressed with my cat's suffering.

Finally, after much research on the net, I went with Primal, particularly Chicken & Salmon for felines. WOW! No throwing up, no loose stools, no odor!!! He loves it; he's healthy, playful and has a beautiful coat and shining eyes. Thank you, thank you!!! Whenever I hear of a sick pet - dog or cat - I tell Thurman's story and urge pet owners to get their fur-kids on Primal!!!

We have (2) English Toy Spaniels - the smallest of the spaniel breed. Cody (8#) and Laci (9#) - 2 1/2 yrs old. For the last two years, I have been prodding, pleading, fussing and fretting over their poor eating habits especially Cody. I tried everything! Most recently, I had been cooking chicken, lamb and bison and trying to add the appropriate fruits, veggies and fat - what a chore and I work from home.

Over Thanksgiving, the Primal Pet Foods rep was at our annual Pooch Party and gave us a coupon for a starter pack. I transferred them right over without any transition and what a HUGE difference.

They both go right to their bowls without any pleading on my part and Cody - my fussy one - eats first and tries to eat his sisters. I can not thank you enough for giving me two babies who absolutely LOVE your products. We buy, chicken, lamb and recently added duck. They seem to like the gamier ones.

Thanks again and I will tell my pet friends.
